Tricky but worth it

I had difficulty at first but once I locked it in it worked well. It was worth the effort. There is a learning curve but I’m happy I bought this adapter. I use it on my NOCS monocular primarily but it worked on my NOCS binoculars & another brand of binoculars I own.

Easy, Intuitive, Brilliant

The new photo rig is SO easy to use! Very intuitive. No directions needed. If you've ever used any kind of phone mount in your car, you'll immediately see how to use this photo rig. I love that it is self-centering and can be used with just about any binocular or monocular or magnifying device with an eye piece. Looking forward to using it to take pictures of the eclipse with my phone and the Nocs monocular with the solar filter lens.

Love the Nocs.....Hate the Rig....

Pretty disappointed. Bought the package deal they offered with new NOCS + a strap + the Rig. Well, the Nocs are great. That matters most. Truly a great set of binoculars. Very happy with the strap (if that matters to anyone). I have had the rig in my possession for a few months, have tried multiple times to make it work with an iPhone 14 Pro. Pretty certain they are incompatible. At best, I can get a very blurry shot through the camera where the borders of the image are clearly the plastic from the Rig. It is not in focus and it is easy to press the side buttons on the iPhone. Guessing that the fine print would have told me not to purchase if I had an iPhone 14 Pro (which seems to have 3 circles of lenses in the camera area). I looked for videos online and the ones I found make it seem so simple. I'm hardly a luddite but maybe with this product the fault is my own. Just cannot figure out where I went wrong and why it is so darn complicated......

Essentially Useless

Nice idea, poorly executed. On my iPhone 15 pro, it takes several minutes of fiddling to get the image aligned, and it’s quite sensitive to any bump or motion. If you imagine setting up a tripod and leaving the whole setup attached for a long time, it may be useful. If you thought it would be nice to carry on a hike and be able to catch some wildlife pics, forget it. By the time you get everything aligned, the animal will be long gone. Add to that poor image quality and very shallow depth of field.

Good, With Limitations

Props to the Nocs team, it's clear that a lot of effort went into this to get it working with a wide range of phones. Takes a minute to understand how to align your phone camera with the notch and whatnot, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. The photo quality leaves something to be desired - you're not going to come out of this with a photo as "nice" as what you yourself see through the binocs, but there's a bit of a charming quality to what you do capture in the end. If it was half the price I would say it'd be absolutely worth it; At $35, I think it can still be worth getting, but you should take a look at the photos other people are posting first.
